Raised in Belgium, in the shadow of Axel Vervoordt’s castle, Willemijn developed an early and deep fascination with interior. She still feels a strong connection to the understated elegance of Flemish designers. A few years later, an interior education refined her aesthetic eye – her designs are characterised by an intuitive gaze, focused on balance, materials, and detail.

With a background in Human Resources, Willemijn is skilled at understanding what truly moves people. She listens attentively, senses the underlying needs, and translates wishes effortlessly into a clear design concept that works not only on paper but also in daily life. Her enthusiasm and passion for her craft are contagious, inspiring others to view interiors with a fresh perspective.

We live in a 19th-century fisherman’s house in Marken, full of character and tradition. We wanted something new, fresh, and contemporary, without losing the character of the home. Willemijn understood this perfectly. She listened carefully to our wishes and translated them into a beautiful, harmonious design with exquisite colours, materials, bespoke elements, furniture, lighting fixtures, and clever ideas for our kitchen and living room.
